Suds & Science With Angela Laws
Join VCE biologist Jason Hill in an interactive event with Dr. Angela Laws in a conversation about insect conservation in a warming world. Dr. Laws is an Endangered Species Conservation Biologist and Climate Change Lead for the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation. Dr. Laws is an Endangered Species Conservation Biologist and Climate Change Lead for the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation. Conserving invertebrate populations (from freshwater mussels to tiger beetles) throughout the world is a daunting challenge, made only more difficult by climate change. Dr. Laws works with pollinator restoration projects throughout North America to enable those projects to anticipate and respond to climate-related threats. Please join us online--we promise this isn't your standard Zoom lecture. Jason welcomes your questions for Dr. Laws throughout the conversation, and you’ll also have the opportunity to further engage and converse in small groups via a virtual Wonder room (so much fun) before and after the talk.

All Suds & Science events are recorded and will be available for viewing on our website and Vimeo. Not quite the same as gathering in person for a pint at the Norwich Inn, so you'll have to BYOB to this virtual event. See you there!
